The outsider is called one who is notable to succeed, a man always turns out to be worse than others. But it is not so. Outsider - more social role, under certain circumstances, may take almost anyone, regardless of his personal qualities.
Outsider as a social role
Studying psychology of small social groups towhich can be attributed, and a school class, and the working team, revealed patterns in the distribution of roles within each of these social groups. In order for the group to maintain social balance, all social niche to be filled. If any of the niches is released, the team seeks to fill it, "pushing" the vacant social role of one of the members of the group.
And, sometimes regardless of the numberteam members, some social niche can be filled only by one person, for example, the role of informal leader or a regular jester. Other niches can "hold" a few people. When conducting sociometric research psychologists found that niche outsider, outcast or may be occupied by a team of no more than two or three members of the group.
But at least one outsider in any socialgroup is bound to be. This role is essential to the other members of the group felt "at height". Comparing himself to the outsider, they maintain their own self-esteem at the proper level. This occurs regardless of how good or bad the outsider or the remaining members of the group - these social laws.
People "choose" outsider

In the classroom the role of outsiders often get children with pronounced disabilities, lagging behind in their studies, etc. In the adult team it may be a worker, has the smallest range of business skills required for the job, but it does not always happen. It may well be that the properties of the individual, allowing a person to "occupy the niche of" an outsider in a team, the other will be quite acceptable.
It is believed that it is easier to become a new outsidermember of the team, but it is not. Member must have the same negative qualities that are already available in the group of "regular" outsider, but expressed in a much greater degree.
How to stop being an outsider
Having taken this social niche, get out of itextremely difficult. To appeal to morality and humanity of team members is almost useless: the outsider needs a social group, and deliberately "let go" of a person with this role, the team can only be subject to targeted psychosocial work aimed at refocusing socio-advantaged members of the group to other, more appropriate mechanisms of self-affirmation. Such work can and should be carried out in such a small social group, as a family. The working team or classroom is extremely difficult to do.
To avoid becoming an outsider, a person needs tothe first days of the entry into a new team to show those qualities that can positively assess its members. The better he is out, the less likely that person will be "elected" to the role of the outsider.
If this happens, a person is eitherwait for the new member of the team will be able to take this social niche instead (which is rare), or get out of the group and to try a new team to take a more prosperous social role.
