It happens that the old drivers start to run unstable or the printer needs to be replaced with a new one, and the driver of the predecessor is deleted.
When you remove a device from the? Printers section? The drivers are not deleted from the hard disk, they must be manually deleted.
The Windows operating system, starting with XP, allows you to do this from the user interface.
Log on to the computer as Administrator.
Turn the printer off and unplug its cable.
Click the "Start" button. And select "Control Panel".
In the section "Equipment and sound? Press the "Printer" setting.
In the file, select "Server Properties".
Click the "Drivers?" Tab, left-click on the printer whose driver you want to remove.
