Novomoskovsk is a city located on the Central Russian Upland between the Shat and Don rivers. It is a significant industrial and economic center of the region.
The city is part of the Tula-Novomoskovsk agglomeration.
Go to Novomoskovsk on the highway. Near the city lies the motorway "Don", which connects Moscow with the southern part of Russia. Thanks to this neighborhood in Novomoskovsk it is possible to reach this road from Moscow, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Novorossiysk. The P132 route, which also passes in close proximity to the city, connects Novomoskovsk with Kaluga, Tula, Mikhailov and Ryazan. By road P140 it is possible to get from Tula.
Use the railway service toNovomoskovsk. Through the city station "Novomoskovsk-1" are the Moscow-Donbass and Syzran-Vyazma. You can also get to Novomoskovsk by commuter trains. The trains leave from Tula and other nearby cities. The commuter rail trains leave for Novomoskovsk mainly from two directions, from the Maklets and Bobrik-Donskoy stations.
Go to the city on a public transport. Novomoskovsk is connected by bus with many localities. Direct routes the city is connected with Moscow, Voronezh, Ryazan, Eagle. You can come to Novomoskovsk from less popular destinations - Bogoroditsk, Vinev, Efremov, Kireevsk, Skopin. Bus trips from Tula depart every 10 minutes, except for night and late evening.
To get to Novomoskovsk by air fromRemote regions, take advantage of the arrival of any airport in Moscow. Then by rail or by bus, go to Tula. You can go directly to Novomoskovsk, but the administrative center of the region connects with the capital much more transport flights. From Tula to the final destination, take the bus or train. If necessary, you can use the airports of Lipetsk or Voronezh, which are approximately the same distance from the city as Moscow.
