How to properly wash china and crystal

My china and crystal

Every spring cleaning would be desirable to do so,to pan all corners of the apartment. And, of course, from the sideboard to us looks dusty utensils, which is waiting for their turn to have cleaned it to some solemn occasion.

To dust does not eats deep into the dishes, wash china and crystal quite twice a year, following these rules.

You will need

  • - Soapy water
  • - Soft Sponge
  • - vinegar
  • - soda
  • - Cream of tartar
  • - ammonia
  • - warm milk



Always wash delicate, vintage or gilded china and crystal in warm, soapy water.


Delicate items, wipe with a towel or soft sponge. In no event should not be cleaned with a brush, otherwise you can scratch and ruin the dish.


Wash fine porcelain immediately after use in order not to damage the glaze.


Crystal Rinse in hot water with a quarter cup of vinegar and dry upside down.


To remove the stains of red wine with crystalcarafe you can pour into it two teaspoons of baking soda and cream of tartar, pour one cup of warm water and add a small amount of ammonia and shake. Pour out the water and rinse the decanter.


In order to remove cracks that appear on glaze porcelain, soak the product overnight in warm milk. In the morning just rinse the dishes.
