Every spring cleaning I want to do so,To wash all the corners of the apartment. And, of course, from the cupboard we are looking at dusty dishes, which is waiting for its turn to be cleaned for some solemn occasion.

To prevent the dust from being absorbed deeply into the dishes, it is enough to wash porcelain and crystal twice a year, following these rules.

You will need

  • - soapy water
  • - soft sponge
  • - vinegar
  • - soda
  • - tartar
  • - ammonia
  • - warm milk



Always wash brittle, antique or gilded porcelain and crystal in warm, soapy water.


Wipe delicate items with a towel or a soft sponge. In no case should not be wiped with a brush, otherwise you can scratch and spoil the dishes.


Wash thin porcelain immediately after use in order not to damage the glaze.


Rinse the crystal in hot water with a quarter of a cup of vinegar and dry in an upside down.


To remove stains of red wine from crystalDecanter, you can pour into it two teaspoons of baking soda and tartar, pour one cup of warm water and add a small amount of ammonia and shake. Pour out the water and rinse the decanter.


In order to remove the cracks that appear on the porcelain glaze, soak the product overnight in warm milk. Next morning just rinse the dishes.
