Press the Print Screen key, or PrScn, whichUsually located at the top right of the keyboard. Its only purpose is to create screenshots. On some very compact keyboards, the key can be combined with some other function, so be careful. For example, on some laptops, tablets and other computers, it is used in conjunction with the Fn key.

Immediately after pressing the key, the screen imageWill be stored in the virtual memory of the system. To create a snapshot of the current image on the screen, press the Shift and Print Screen combination, while the application should be running in windowed mode, but not every software supports this function.

Insert the made screenshot from the main memoryIn a graphic editor or a text document. To do this, you need to right-click on the file in the work with the right mouse button and select "Paste", click on this function in the "Edit" menu (Edit) or drag the created image into the program field with the mouse. Also, the screenshot is inserted by pressing the Ctrl and V hotkeys. After that, save the document with the image in the usual way.

In the same application, there are built-in tools that allow you to put different signs, inscriptions, perform selection of fragments, combine several pictures, etc. Also you can choose one of several formats for saving screenshots, which affects their quality and size.
