How to configure outgoing mail


E-mail has become a part of our life.

Increasingly, there is a need to have severalPostal addresses for different types of communication - business, on forums, personal. Working with a large number of mailboxes on the websites of postal services is not very convenient. Mailing programs can help to solve this problem.

One of the most popular email services is Outlook Express.

You can configure Outlook Express inbound and outbound mail at the same time.

You will need

  • - Outlook Express



Click the "Start" button to open the main menu and go to "Programs".


Select Outlook Express from the list of programs and select the "Accounts" item in the "Tools" menu of the program window.


Click the "Add" button and select "Mail ...".


Specify the desired name of the author of postal items,Displayed in all letters in the "Display Name" field of the "Enter Name" section of the "Internet Connection Wizard" dialog box and click "Next" to execute the command.


Enter your email address in the field"E-mail" section of the "Internet e-mail address" section of the "Internet Connection Wizard" dialog box and click "Next" button to go to the next step.


Select the desired server type for incoming and outgoingOutgoing messages and enter the data in the appropriate fields in the "Email Servers" section of the "Internet Connection Wizard" dialog box. Click the "Next" button to confirm your choice.


Enter your spam-protected email address. Make sure that Java-Script is enabled.


Specify the desired password in the "Password" field of the section"Log on to Internet mail" and select the "Remember my password" checkbox. Click the "Next" button to go to the next step of the mail client configuration.


Click the "Finish" button in the "Congratulations!" Section to save the settings for setting the Outlook Express client account.


Specify the account you just created on the Mail tab of the Accounts on the Internet window and click the Properties button.


Click on the "Servers" tab in the window that opensProperties of the selected e-mail and select the "User Authentication" check box in the "Outgoing mail server" section. Click the "Settings" button.


Pick up the "As to the incoming mail server" field in the "Login" section of the "Outgoing mail server" window that opens and click OK in all open windows of Outlook Express.


Click the "Close" button in the "Accounts" window to complete the setup of the mail client.
