Files and folders on the computer can be in two visual modes: visible and invisible.
If you can not find the folder, although you are sure that you did not delete it, make sure that you have the correct settings for displaying the files.
If you do not remember which hard driveIs your hidden folder, first determine the directory in which it was saved. To do this, use the "Start" menu to open the search window by selecting the appropriate item. In the search box, enter the desired name, use the drop-down list to select the "File type - All files and folders" option. Expand the "Advanced Options" menu and place the marker next to "Searching in hidden files and folders", click the "Find" button.
Open any folder without closing the search box. On the top menu bar, select "Tools". From the drop-down menu, select Folder Options and wait for the new dialog box to open. In this window go to the "View" tab, in the "Advanced settings" section, find the "Show hidden files and folders" date and set the marker in the field opposite to it. Click the "Apply" button and close the properties window by clicking the OK button or the X icon in the upper-right corner of the window.
Go back to the search box and look in the section"Folder", in which directory the desired folder is stored. Go to the found folder or to the desired drive. Right-click on the hidden folder, which has now become visible (it should look semi-transparent). In the drop-down menu, select the "Properties" item with the left mouse button. In the dialog that appears, click the General tab. Remove the marker from the "Hidden" field at the bottom of the window. Click the Apply button and close the Properties window.
The same can be done from the search box. Place the mouse pointer over the name of the desired folder and right-click on it. Follow all the steps described in the third step. When the folder becomes visible, you can easily find it at any time, rename it, move it, delete unnecessary files from it or add new ones.
