How to cook lemon Spotykach

Spotykach - a national Ukrainian alcoholic beverage.

I suggest to cook it at home.

You will need

  • - Lemon - 5 piece-
  • - Sugar - 600 r
  • - Vodka - 0.75 n-
  • - Coriander seeds - 0.5 teaspoon lozhki-
  • - Clove buds - 0.25 teaspoons.



With the lemons do this: wash them and then scald with boiling water. Scalded lemons must be cut into slices, without removing the peel. Now take a three-liter jar and mix in it the following: coriander, cloves, sliced ​​lemon and vodka. The resulting mixture, cover and leave to infuse for one week.


Take a pan and pour it 0.5 liters of water. Add the sugar to it, stir it, and bring the water to a boil. Then cook it on high heat. The willingness of the syrup is easy to identify: one lower its drop of cold water. If it looks like a soft ball, then you can remove the sugar syrup from the heat.


After the infusion is ready, take the gauze,fold in 2 layers and strain the liquid. Strained infusion add the sugar syrup. All mix thoroughly. Pour the beverage into bottles, and send it to store up to happen in the dark cool place. Spotykach lemon ready!
