Traditional julep is a sweet syrup, prepared on the basis of water and sugar.
The main ingredient in the formulation is the mint syrup and fresh mint.
You will need
- - 300 grams of watermelon flesh
- - 200 ml of raspberry or grape syrup
- - Mint syrup
- - A few sprigs of mint
- - 1 lemon
With the blender chop the pulp watermelon, mint sprig and a few ice cubes. The resulting mixture is put in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to cool.
In a lot of watermelon, add mint and raspberry (grape) syrup. All the ingredients are thoroughly stir or beat with a mixer.
At the bottom of the glass or glasses put a few slices of lemon and pour the prepared watermelon julep. Before serving, mix lightly sprinkle with powdered sugar.
